The full Concert Band of the Queen's Division - "The Minden Band" - will be performing The Last Night of the Proms live at St. Mary's Church, High Street, Burwell.
Tickets now on sale at the following shops in Burwell: The Post Office, "Tina's" in North Street (Next to the Co-op) and "Centre Peace" in the Causeway. Tickets are also being sold in the Museum Shop (in the Main Barn).
Alternatively contact Margaret or Brenda from the Friends to arange for the tickets to be posted to you (click link to the Friends page below).
Any remaining tickets will be on sale on the door.
The band are unable to give us a Christmas concert this year as they will be on tour abroad during December.
This Autumn concert will be similar to last years' "....Proms" concert but with lots of tunes different from last year.

The Minden Band are internationally famous as some of the British Army's premier musicians, and perform all over the world. We are privileged to have them with us.

This is a magnificent fund-raising event organised by the Friends of Burwell Museum who hope to fill St Mary's Church! Admission by ticket only - book early to avoid disappointment. If there are any tickets remaining unsold they will be available on the door.
As before there will be an interval about half-way through the evening with refreshments and a prize-draw.

We recommend bringing a cushion to sit on as the Church pews are quite hard (there will be some cushions in the Church available on a First Come First Served basis). Also, if it is a cold evening the Church could be just as cold inside as outside.
